Our client is a leading Global hygiene and health company that develops, produces and sells Personal Care, Consumer Tissue and Professional Hygiene products and solutions across over 150 countries.

Ashfield Engage is looking to place a National Sales Manager profile in a direct hire by our client.

Located in Madrid.

Your Tasks:
• Plan, direct, and monitor the activities of a sales team within in the Hospital segment, with responsibility in the full country (Spain), identifying business opportunities and secure achievement of established sales targets according to strategy.
• Leads, directs and develops the respective sales organization in terms of its structure, people and performance to achieve maximum efficiency &effectiveness.
• Coach team members on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.
• Translate local business plans into sales plans, activities, and campaigns and manage the day-to-day activities of a sales team (in order to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy).
• Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem/opportunities areas and adapt procedures.
•Allocate resources according to up-to-date customer prioritization to improve the overall performance of the sales team.
• Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
• Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution plans/strategies for area of responsibility.

Requisitos
-You have a University Degree Health sciences (nursery, medicine, physiotherapy…) or Economic background.
- You have prior experience as a National Sales Manager, Regulatory market knowledge and previous experience in Tender business.
-You are familiar with the architecture of the Spanish health care system, the care structures as well as the official and legal framework and you are also used to working with different internal colleagues nationally and internationally bases.
- High English Level
- Advance Communications & interpersonal relationships skills
- Oriented to results
- Building effective teams skills.
