Ashfield Engage is looking to place a Market Access Manager in a direct hire by our client.

Base in Madrid.

Key responsibilities:
• Ensure that global, regional and country pricing and access strategies are of high quality and are fit for purpose for the individual country.
• Put in place local guidance, pathways, service models and other enabling mechanisms which provide the best possible access environment
• Ensure development of deep country-level understanding of payer needs, decision-making approaches, strategies, and country reimbursement stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain productive and sustained relationships with key influencers.
• Demonstrate an up to date understanding of pricing and reimbursement methodologies
• Possibility of Contracting with Health institutions
• Other responsibilities will be described in the interview.

Requisitos
You have:
- Degree in life sciences, economics, or business with an advanced degree in one of these.
- At least 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or device industry in a similar position.
- Significant experience and understanding of the healthcare system, pricing, access and reimbursement processes of the assigned country is required.
- Strong understanding of healthcare funding and decision-making at national, regional and local level of the assigned country.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pricing trends, tactics and payer dynamics.
- Experience launching products in the hospital-based setting would be ideal.
- Fluent in English
