Our client, AMARIN, is a rapidly growing, innovative pharmaceutical company that is leading a new paradigm in cardiovascular disease management. The Country Head of Marketing role requires an individual to consolidate all their experience to date in an exciting opportunity, to design and implement core marketing plans, but also to lead & build his/her own marketing team to fulfil this function directly in local market.

Ashfield Engage is looking to place a Head of Marketing in a direct hire by our client.

This leadership position will take ownership for the product launch and marketing management over the given territory and work closely with other national marketing and digital teams in Europe. This role will be responsible for the strategic marketing aspects of the overall launch and ongoing brand plans. You will also have direct line management responsibility for a Brand/Marketing Manager and Customer Engagement Manager. You should be experienced in leading Marketing, Digital, Communication and Market Research functions, with a results-driven, ‘hands on’ attitude.

Requisitos
Person Specification:
- University Degree in Science, Marketing or similar relevant qualification
- Requires 8+ years in pharmaceutical marketing spanning operational and strategic marketing initiatives
- Brand management experience in Spain with broader knowledge of other European Markets
- Requires experience in international brand management process with high visibility to regional / global functions
- Should have own direct experiences in translating brand strategy into a digital, multichannel 360° customer engagement journey and establishing the digital channel through the Digital engagement manager
- Product launch experience is essential, ideally this would come from within CVD or Metabolic Markets
- A highly effective people leader with demonstrable evidence as a cross functional collaborator with Country Managers, National Sales Manager and Medical Directors in diverse organisations
- Ability to integrate Omnichannel Marketing approaches with the support of the wider digital team
- Prior career experience in Pharmaceutical Sales Management ideally second line and experience of blockbuster launches is preferable
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead with authority.
- Aptitude in influencing, gaining consensus, and overcoming resistance by presenting a powerful case for implementing new initiatives
- Strong understanding of sales teams KPIs and management, and a collaborative, driven approach
- Strategic and sustainable thinking; the successful candidate will have examples from previous roles
- Excellent communication and presentat
